Physical protection can be performed only within a protected objects in and around protected persons to the border area for which they are charged with guarding by the guardians. Exceptionally, the competent police department may, upon the local government, grant an approval under which the affairs of physical protection may be provided in public areas as well.

Security guards and guardians their powers may apply only within a protected object in and around protected persons. Exceptionally, a security guard when engaged in the business of direct physical protection of persons (bodyguard), to apply his powers outside of the protected objects and space around the protected person when he rejects simultaneous or direct and imminent unlawful attack directed against him or the person we are protecting.

Guardian and protector will warn the person about his/her behavior which can lead to endangering his/her safety or the safety of other persons or the property security , disrupt public order, or if a reasonable expectation that this person could commit or cause another person to commits a crime or misdemeanor.

Guardian and security guard are authorized to conduct examinations of persons, objects that the person carries which may be items that may be the subject of a criminal offense or deeds, which are intended as a means to carry out the crime or offense, or objects that can be used as evidence in criminal or misdemeanor case or cases that can be used for destruction and damage to the object to be protected and items suitable for attack or self-harm.

Authorization of persons who have been issued permission to perform physical protection are:

1. checking the identity of persons ,
2. giving warnings and commands,
3. temporary restriction of freedom of movement,
4. review of people, objects and transport equipment,
5. securing the scene,
6. use of guard dogs,
7. use of physical force,
8. use of firearms.
